Driver Education
Basic (Level I)
The Level I program is a four hour course that includes education in the latest Alabama laws, understanding the driving measurers that promote safe driving, driving behaviors that lead to accidents and traffic tickets, understanding the importance to having a safe operating vehicle. Many drivers over the age of 55 that attend the program may receive a discount on their car insurance. Drivers should check with their insurance companies to verify the discount.
Advanced (Level II)
The Level II program is a six hour course designed to address aggravated and repeat traffic offenders. Facilitators of both programs are experienced instructors that present the information in a manner that allows the student to be a better, safer drivers in the future.
Substance Abuse and Youth Education
Level I Drug & Alcohol / Level II Drug & Alcohol / Youth and Juvenile / Workplace Training
Alabama Court Referral Education Program (Substance Abuse/DUI Level I & Level II)
Level I is a twelve (12) hour program designed to educate the DUI/drug offender about the risks and consequences of alcohol and other drug use. Level II is an intensive twenty-four (24) hour course designed for aggravated and repeat offenders and involves group participation. Both Level I and Level II are certified through the ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF COURTS . (All drug and alcohol offenders must be referred through the Court Referral Officer)
Juvenile Substance Abuse Education Program
A twelve (12) hour course designed to educate and prevent juveniles/young adults from unacceptable behavior. The program covers all phases of youthful offender behavior problems. This program is certified through the ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF COURTS . (All offenders must be referred through the Court Referral Officer)
